BilateralSync is a browser-based EMDR tool that delivers therapist-controlled visual and auditory bilateral stimulation to a client's own screen. It can be tried free without an account through the public demo, and every therapist account starts with 14 days of full access at no cost.

What the tool is

BilateralSync renders the moving visual target and alternating stereo audio used for bilateral stimulation (BLS) during EMDR therapy. The therapist operates the controls on their own screen; the client sees only a clean fullscreen stimulation view on theirs, kept in step in real time.

Who it is for

Licensed EMDR therapists, psychologists and psychotherapists who run sessions online, in the room, or both. It is a clinician tool: it is not a self-help application and is not intended for unguided reprocessing.

The trial exists so you can run genuine sessions with real clients before deciding whether the tool belongs in your practice. If you cancel, nothing is deleted and your account stays open.

Visual bilateral stimulation

Seven visual patterns. Horizontal, vertical, diagonal, circular, infinity, pendulum and smooth random — with live speed, size and colour control. Auditory bilateral stimulation

Stereo-panned tones alternate between the left and right channel, with adjustable frequency, panning depth, volume and speed. Headphones are required. Laptop speakers collapse stereo panning to mono. See auditory BLS.

Therapist-controlled client view and real-time sync

Every adjustment the therapist makes is applied to the client's view in real time, so pattern, speed and audio changes land without asking the client to do anything. The client's screen shows the stimulation only. No controls, no chrome. See synchronization and therapist controls.

Browser-based delivery, supported devices
